Russian-Jewish Cultural Center HERITAGE

Kids and Youth Programs

Our Center has a lineup of proven programs that address today’s most pressing youth issues, including teaching youth people the skills they need to succeed in life. The Center offers a board range of programs in the areas of education: English tutoring, Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, Languages (Russian, Hebrew), Musical (Piano, Guitar, Vocal and Band). A large majority of the subjects are taught by highly knowledgeable individuals, either by enthusiastic work-study students or other that have degree obtained in Russian- speaking countries.

We foster relationships between adults and children, to further the preservation of our culture and the Russian language, for children to enable communication and interactions between children and non-English speaking family adults. We work to help them find out about what, which links to many social aspects as at-risk reduction activities to reduce or prevent “latchkey children syndrome” and unsupervised free time. Research shows that when adults spend meaningful time with kids is help them develop positive self-images and senses of belonging, usefulness and purpose. The heart of the Center is to offer opportunities for students to pursue degree in Art, Education and Social studies field, as well as assist retired seniors who have precious skills to participate enthusiastically with their life-gained talents and many cultural and education activities for our community.

We appreciate the opportunity to help all children in reaching their dreams and future success in life.

From the month of September of this year, we are offering classes at the North Bellevue Community Center for children & youth from the ages 5-18. We welcome you to join us and enjoy these lively cultural activities.
